NEET UG 2025 Admit Cards Are Live: Here’s What You Need to Know

The wait is over for NEET UG 2025 aspirants. On April 30, the National Testing Agency (NTA) put up admit cards on its official portal, giving lakhs of hopeful medical students just a few days to get ready for the big day—May 4, 2025. The exam will take place between 2 PM and 5 PM, with strict rules and fresh security measures meant to keep everyone honest and prepared.

Getting your admit card is simple: log into the official NEET site with your application number, date of birth, and the required security code. Make sure all the details check out—your photo, signature, roll number, the address of your exam center, and the timing are all there. Don’t risk being turned away at the gate; if something on your admit card doesn’t match your ID, flag it now and get it fixed ASAP.

Strict Dress Code, Security Push, and Mandatory Documents

On the day of the exam, certain things just aren’t optional. Bring your printed admit card, a valid photo ID (like Aadhaar or passport), and a postcard-sized color photograph, just like the one used in your application. Forgetting even one item can mean missing the exam.

This year, NTA is serious about the dress code. Show up in easy, casual clothes—no long sleeves, no elaborate accessories, and definitely no shoes. Only slippers or sandals are allowed, so keep it simple. If your usual attire includes religious symbols, you’ll need to arrive extra early; security teams will need extra time for frisking to make sure everything’s above board. Nobody wants last-minute panic at the entrance.

The focus on fairness goes beyond what you wear. With stories about leaked papers and cheating still making headlines, NTA is stepping up surveillance. There’s now a dedicated reporting platform on their website—see anything fishy like websites offering NEET questions, fake social media handles, or anyone pretending to be you? Report it before 5 PM on exam day. This is a direct move under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, bringing real consequences for rule-breakers.

Even with all this pressure, don’t forget—most students face the same nervousness. Plan your travel, double-check all documents, and leave home with time to spare. NEET may be one of the toughest entrance tests in India, but preparation and attention to detail are half the battle won this May 4.
